I enlarged the original model so that it would work better as a lampshade for a standing lamp. The old version is quite small, and while very good for a desk or table lamp, was not of a sufficient size to look right on a floor lamp. This can be seen in one of the uploaded pictures, where I compared the original to my remix.

All I did was take the original file, add to the bottom and then the sides to make it cover the lamp base/switch and also be of larger diameter. We control this lamp via a smart plug, so we don't need to access the physical switch.

For the liner, I just used thick printer paper. I very carefully cut out a hole for the connection, then used spray adhesive on the printed part to attach the sheet. Then I trimmed the excess with a razor blade.
