Description

After success of my full size rocket quad and RemoteID coming into effect in the USA and Australia's Outdated, Draconian laws it seemed like l should have a go at a sub 250 gram speed quad.

The aim when designing this was light weight, taking a similar philosophy of a Formula 1 car. So if you crash this, it will break, if you land too hard, it will break. It uses a 20x20mm FC/ESC Stack, 12x12mm motor mounts and a nano FPV camera. The electronics are installed on the Tail Cone first, then the fuselage is held on with four M2 screws, and the Nose Cone friction fits on the Fuselage.

I used the following electronics:

FC/ESC Stack: Diatone Mamba MK4 F405Mini with 40 Amp ESC

Motors: Diatone Mamba 1408 4000kv (Discontinued) But any 14xx/15xx 4000kvish motor with a 5mm shaft should be fine or there options FlashHobby 1408 3650kv or FlashHobby 1506 4200kv or RCinPower1507 4200kv

Camera: Foxeer Nano Razer

VTX: RushFPV Tiny Tank with whip antenna

GPS: Foxeer M10Q GPS either the 120 or 180

Batteries: CNHL 4s 650mah I modified the batteries to use XT60 connector for higher amp draw, the XT30 connector will probably melt on your first run, I am also working on a 6s version too ;)

Props: Any high pitch 3 inch with 5mm mount, if you can find old stock Racekraft 3076 Speed Props (discontinued)

Its a pretty straight forward print, I recommend using Carbon Fiber PLA, purely for its stiffness.

My personal best is 230km/h but it has more to give and could easily reach 300km/h

Happy Flying

I just use the standard 0.2 profile for my X1C and P1S, so it should work with the default A1 Mini settings, if not I'll try to make one but I wouldn't be able to test it.
