Description

Nuka cola container inspired by the one from Fallout series.

It could be used as a container for geocaching and actually for anything else. The inner container is made of two parts connected by a thread. The whole thing is attached to the bayonet inside the bottle. The bayonet is with a "click" feature ... a place where you have to overcome resistance to lock it. It clicks and it won't release on its own.

It is designed for 3Dprinting, so you dont have to use supports for any part.

Bottle cap and Nuka Cola sticker are printed with double color feature. There is a pause added in print profile (no AMS profile), so you can change the filament color manually.
To secure bottle cap and “Nuka Cola” sticker use some glue. You have to bend the “Nuka Cola” sticker over the edge of the table to achieve the correct arch shape before sticking to bottle.

Not for commercial use. Ask me for a permission.

As a fan of fallout and a former avid geocacher, I love this. I printed it last night with a combination of black and translucent petg filament. I want sure about the black, but it turned out better than I expected. The only thing I think could make it even better is if the bottle were a thinner outer shell, with the inside container having a similar contour and fitting inside. Then the outer bottle could be printed fully in clear and the inside in black or dark brown to look even more realistic. Still, super cool print. My son is teaching the geocaching merit badge at scout camp this year, so I’ll send this with him to show as an example of a cool container. Maybe by the time camp is over I’ll think of a fitting place to put it as a cache. Thank you for sharing!

Hello there. Thank you for a kind words, I really like your feedback. I can make a bottle thinner, but the inner container have to be this size, because of locking mechanism in the bottom of bottle. It cannot be bigger, it wouldnt get through bottom of the bottle
