Description

What Are these?

Due to my ever growing collection of aftermarket bambu buildplates i had to print a 3rd buildplate rack. Those things are great for organizing but you can't stack them without risking them toppling over. These brackets are based on the stand and remixed into multiple versions of interconnecting brackets.

They screw into the racks using the same M3x14 screws, for inside brackets its a bit finagling but they do work and are very stable.

What's included?

8 different type of brackets that should cover all possible connecting options.

What's what?

  • bracket_bottom_small: these screw in between 2 racks on the bottom row of your interconnecting racks
  • bracket_center_large_double: these are meant for when you simply want to stack 2 racks on top of each other. Tue thin pieces at the top and bottom can be snipped off. These cover the full width of a rack.
  • bracket_center_large_thick: These mount to the top side of the bottom row of racks and each subsequent top row. The top racks will look as if they float above each rack beneath it. Using these you cannot expand horizontally as the screw from the outside edges will prevent mounting more brackets of this type. These cover the full width of 2 racks.
  • bracket_center_large_thin: same as bracket_center_large_thick but the racks will sit flush on top of each other. These cover the full width of 2 racks.
  • bracket_center_small_thick: these are the brackets that connect in between 2 racks and can be used without restrictions to expand stacking both in X and Z axis. With these the racks will also appear floating.
  • bracket_center_small_thin: same as bracket_center_small_thick: but the racks will sit flush
  • bracket_double_outside: these are minimalist brackets that screw on the outside of 2 racks. Due to the design and the screws cap that will protrude any stack at the side of them will not be flush with the racks on the left or right of it.
  • bracket_double_large: same thing as above but cover the full width of a rack.
