This is a small turtle shell fidget toy / trinket. There are 2 versions of it:
Each version has a 0.2mm (for a rough, low polygon feel) and 0.08mm (for a smooth feel) layer height version, with appropriately calibrated settings.
The single shell “1 piece” version has a height modifier to support printing with 2 different colours for the chest and shell. The model itself is a little different than the 2 halves version since it needed to lay flat on the build plate.
The 2 halves, magnetic version has a pause point set for when the magnets need to be added. Make sure to insert the magnets with opposite polarity in each half (ex negative side down for the back shell and positive side down for the chest piece)
Note for scaling the models: If you try to scale the models you will need to make adjustments to the height modifier for the “1 piece” model if you are printing in multiple colours and you may need to adjust the magnet hole size if printing the magnetic version.
Note for printing the magnetic version: I printed this with Bambulab matte pla on an X1C. If you have a different printer, or are using significantly different filament you may need to adjust the `x/y compensation` in order for the magnets to fit. You will want a snug fit to ensure the hotend doesn't pull the magnets out when it is covering them after manually inserting them at the pause point.
