Description

Print this elegant Trash Can that fits in your cup holder.
I always needed a small trashcan in my car for my candy wrappers, unwanted paper trash, tissues etc.
I would suggest you to print the lid standing up so the sliding ridge is vertical.
If you can, print the lid with with 1.2mm layer height for smooth motion.

Assembly:
1. Slide the lid from the back
2. Fasten an M3 button head screw (around 8mm length) as shown in the pictures. This stops the lid from sliding out of the can.
3. There is a circular feature on the inside of the can, this is supposed to be for a magnet. This helps keep the lid closed.
But the feature was too big after printing. You can still use it. Just use a magnet (10mm Dia, 3mm thick) and stick it in that feature. Try and keep it towards the top.
4. Now the very important step! Slide that lid back and forth a couple of times. SNAP! SNAP!….AAAAH! that's so satisfying!!!!!

If you have printed this please share your images here. If you like it, give us a thumbs up!
V2 is in design phase already….coming very soon!
So any improvements you like to see in V2, please feel free to message or comment.

Hi, thank you very much for printing my model. When I designed and printed this myself, I did it on an old Creality printer. Which is why I did not want to upload any print profiles which might or might not work for everyone. The profile uploaded here is not by me. I am getting an A1 this week. I'll try and upload a profile myself. And also there will be a V2 coming soon with some improvements. Keep an eye out for that.
