Description

UPDATE!

I have experienced some users who have had issues printing the Rose Inner Petals plate, It seems as if the printer nozzle is colliding with the part and breaking it off the build plate. I have uploaded a new build plate with revised settings for the Rose Inner Petals (Rev B). If you are experiencing issues, please use the new Rev B plate.

Please note: The custom print setting I have applied DO NOT work from the Handy app. Please download and print from your computer.

Thank you Kindly!

I extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone for the overwhelming support shown for the bouquet of tulips. Your encouragement has fueled my creativity, inspiring me to embark on crafting a more intricate masterpiece - the bouquet of roses. Cool print, having issues with getting the bottom of the leaves and flowers to print correctly. Does anyone else run into similar problems?

Thank you for posting the issue. I have not seen the bottom of the rose turn out this rough. Are you using the preset settings I have created in the slicer? I found that the variable layer height set to .16 helped smoothen this section out. Hope this is helpful. Good luck

Thanks @M.Matsumoto I had the same problem too. Cool print! Is it this setting, as per the photo?

Thanks @dangermouse7 Here is the setting I mentioned. Note, this setting is required for each individual flower on the build plate, it is not global to all parts.

Fantastic print from a great artist. I didn't have any issues with printing (P1S). I found the stem connection into the leaf to be a little bit challenging. I had to use a knife to shave a tiny amount off of the leaf to get the stem to fit through. Very happy with this!! Will continue to support MiMa3D.

IM having trouble with stringing printing the inner rose part, the brim stays attached to the bed, but it snaps off and just fails

This print went very well. I printed three complete sets for mom, mother in law, and wife. All the roses were silk pla. One base/vase was rainbow silk. One was dual color silk. The last one was PETG translucent for the vase and PETG starry blue for the stand. The only real problem I had was the hole in leaves was too snug for the stem to push through. A little filing inside the hole fixed it right up.

I have also had varying quality with prints in this area (as mentioned in assembly instructions). I have setup supports and tried without supports with similar results, the best results coming from supports ON and using Bambu PLA tough (discontinued). The overhang is just too aggressive. I recommend using the setting I have preset in the slicer and ensuring the material being sliced is accurate to what's in the printer. Fortunately this surface is hidden in the bouquet. Good luck and Thank you.

Took some time but it was ABSOLUTELY worth it! Now to figure out how to ship it so it arrives intact on the journey to my Mom in Minnesota.
