Description

This case fits the Bruce Le Clavier PCB by JLW

https://github.com/josh-l-wang/Bruce-the-Keyboard-the-Resources

PCB is available below:

Bruce le Clavier le PCB

This case was designed for PLA filament and is designed to print in 3 parts, a Top, Bottom and Bottom Insert. The bottom insert is intended to be glued in after printing.

This case requires no supports and the halves connect with 4x m2x6mm self tapping screws. The print has built in 0.1mm thick support to allow the countersink to print nicely. Break this free using a screw or screwdriver before assembly.

The switch plates are custom for this case and mount via m2x6 self tapping screws. McMaster-Carr

An internal pocket for weights was added as well.

Weights are available here:

ACCRETION 96Pcs 1/4 Oz Black Adhesive Backed Wheel Weights (24 Oz Pack)

Depending on your printer settings, the self tapping screw hole sizes or magnet pockets may need to be adjusted. I’ve included both fusion and .step files.

Feel free to mod this case or use as is for your personal use. Remixes are cool but please don't use this design or remixes for commercial purposes without permission from me.

One question... how connect the halves without magnets? Where go the self tapping screws? Thanks

the 4 screws go through the bottom into the top with the updated files. there is a modeled in support in the holes that is 0.1mm thick, so you just have to poke through those and it’s good to go.

Sorry, but I don't see that in the slicer. I think I'm going to print the bottom part to see if I can see it physically.
