Description

I've been seeing some other models that depicted the classic sandbox that many people had as kids. But couldn't find one that I liked so I decided to design my own! introducing the classic Turtle sandbox!

You can put kinetic sand in here and have it as a feature in your office or home! I designed 2 different “shell” Covers for the lil guy. a more traditional round with lines. and a hexagon/flower pattern on the other. Both turned out great! you can print them in all green or print the shell brown and the base green for some added flair!

Ill be releasing some sandbox tools soon such as a bucket shovel and castle mold!

The shells do require supports which means they will also require a little bit of cleanup.

Printed for my wife because she loves turtles and I think it turned out pretty good. I didn’t like the way the top turned out on the first print so I changed some settings and colored it. 10.5hr print time to do the whole thing colored unfortunately but looks amazing compared to solid. I also used tree style supports instead which came off a lot easier than the first one.

these are adorable. I would have given 5 stars but the underside of the lid doesn’t look so good

unfortunately support is required. I had to design it that way so the model wouldn't look funky. I can put a solid lid where it would be completely flat if you'd like.
