Description

If you have the TacVisor by Bell+Howell, you need this. While a good product, after a period of use, the visor, particularly the daytime visor, loses friction and falls down by itself and stays in the down position even not needed, rendering it unusable.

(A link to the product is provided at the bottom for the sole purpose of positively identifying what product this fix is for. I myself forgot what the name is and had to google for it. So this is a very niche model :)

Mine has not been used for a while because of this malfunction. The car cabin gadgets design contest provides an added incentive to design something to fix it.

Easily printed with PETG without support. PETA is recommended over PLA because the temp inside the car can reach high enough to soften and deform PLA.

Can be printed with small printers such as Bambu Lab A1 mini. Print profile is provided.

Easy to use. Instruction is provided for download. Note: Please do some practices so one can put the visor down and up without causing distracted driving.

Disclaimer: the URL below is for positively identifying the product this fix is for. I have no financial relationship with the Amazon seller. In fact, I bought mine from a store.
