In the depths of the city, where shadows danced and whispers echoed through narrow alleys, lurked a sinister threat that sent shivers down the spines of its inhabitants. Man-sized humanoid rat-men, The Neotoma.  With eyes gleaming like shards of malice in the darkness, they prowled the streets at night, their presence heralded by the faint echo of scratching claws and the musty scent of damp fur.

Once a bustling metropolis, the city now lay in the grip of fear, its people huddling behind bolted doors, praying for the dawn to chase away the nightmares that prowled in the moonlit streets. Every night, the Neotoma emerged from the depths, emerging from hidden tunnels and forgotten sewers with a malevolent hunger in their eyes.

Whispers spread like wildfire among the frightened populace, tales of encounters with the Neotoma haunting every corner tavern and market square. Some spoke of missing loved ones, snatched away in the dead of night by the creatures' gnarled claws. Others whispered of shadowy figures darting through the alleys, their eyes filled with the feral hunger of beasts.

But as terror gripped the city, beneath the cobblestone streets, a far greater threat loomed. Deep in the labyrinthine tunnels beneath the city's foundations, an enormous army of Neotoma gathered, their numbers swelling with each passing night. Led by a cunning warlord, his fur matted with filth and his eyes burning with a hunger for conquest.  He plotted in secrecy, his claws sharpened and teeth bared in anticipation of the coming storm.

Unbeknownst to the city above, the Neotoma had long harboured dreams of claiming the streets and alleys as their own, turning the once-proud city into a nest of filth and decay. And now, with their forces amassed and their plans laid bare, they prepared to unleash their fury upon the unsuspecting populace, their eyes alight with the promise of chaos and destruction.

This product contains A unit of Neotoma Miscreants - a set of 10 miniatures sculpted in 32mm scale.   The shields are also supplied but are not attached to the models -  you will need to superglue these to the non-weapon arm of the Champion and infantry.
