For use on square tubing bookshelves to keep books from falling off the open ends.
Model is measured for a 0.8in (20.5mm) square tubing. Use the scaling tool in the slicer to size it for your bookshelf.
use:
x=b(100/20.5) … where b is the width of your square tubing and x would be the % scale to set the model to.
i.e. if your tubing is 30mm, then x = 30(100/20.5) = 146.34%
printed at 0.16mm line height
material: PETG-CF (could print in PLA just be careful flexing it too much when attaching it to the shelf)
infill: 100%
I oriented on its side to keep it short and supportless. Had to use a brim to keep it from tipping.
If you still have issues with it tipping while printing, try adding short, wide cylinders (use the add primitives) on either side, just barely touching the model.
