Description

Skull and crossbones panels with mounting pegs, compatible with Ikea Skadis pegboard, three variations of peg holes.

Skull and bones are apx 170 mm x 135mm, so should individually fit on A1 Mini as well. The bones may be separated as objects and printed separately.

One side of the skull and bones has the standard oval fillet, the other side has a chamfered edge around the holes. Just something different I wanted to try.

Pegs:

Included are long and short mounting pegs. Long pegs may be used to offset the printed panel from your Skadis, allowing other attachments to still be used. Short pegs hold the printed panel closer to the Skadis, and may not allow other items to be hung from the panel.

Due to the variability in Skadis holes, and 3d printing in general, you may wish to print a few extra pegs. Sometimes one (side) will be too tight for either the Skadis or the printed panel. I use pliers to push in and remove the pegs when needed. Using the PEI Hot Plate, and no glue, pegs stick fine to the plate. But you will need a brim and supports on the pegs if using a cold or textured plate. And they print more reliably if you use those anyway, so the print profile includes both enabled. I usually print the pegs separately, at 50% speed, as there are still fails now and again.

Colors:

In white, with the textured plate, these's a nice shimmery surface. I suspect printing in PLA white marble might look good as well.

The Copper Brown Metallic (BL - PLA Metal) is super sweet, and the Lava Gray PLA-CF is also nice.

I printed most of these on 50% speed for atleast the first few layers, to use the textured plate side as the face. YMMV.

Enjoy,
