Description

This is just a fun night cityscape with forced perspective of a cat on a wall in front of the skyline and stars. You will want to use an AMS as there are a good number of few filament changes in the middle and front layers. It is made with the following files:

LightBoxFrameWithLid.3mf – Frame and lid, print in black PLA

NightSceneCat v3.3mf – Front scene, print in black, yellow, red and white PLA

NightSceneBuildings v8.3mf – Middle scene, print in black, gray, brown and white PLA

NightSceneSky v4.3mf – Rear scene, print in black and white PLA

The lights can be purchased here:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XKP79MR

Please see the picture of the lid for an example of the fairy light wiring. Start on the upper left peg and wrap all the way around the peg. Then continue across and down, back and forth. Be careful not to make the wire too taught, just wrap it all the way around a peg if needed to make it more secure. You can introduce zig zags as well and get creative with it. Just be careful not to block the door the wire will go out. When you’re done, slide the door in and push it snuggly against the insulated part of the USB cable. You may need to push the door up a bit from the back for it to seat securely.

Put the scene layers in starting with the front (cat on wall), then middle (skyline), then rear (sky). Snap the rear lid on and you’re done!
