Inspired by Lance Hedrick's video I've decided to model a blind shaker resembling the weber workshop one. The original is made out of metal so it's very smooth and coffee doesn't get stuck. 3D printed plastic on the other hand has layer lines that causes coffee to stick to it. To mitigate the problem I've lowered the layer heights and printed it in ABS to try acetone smoothing. Still have to give it a go but I'll keep you updated on how it goes. Fits 58mm portafilters and has 8 4x2mm magnets to secure it in place. They are a tight pressfit, make sure to insert them BEFORE acetone smoothing because plastic deformation could prevent them from going in.
