Description

Bambu Lab Bed Scraper With Replaceable Blades

A useful tool that aids your 3d printing experience, helping remove stubborn bits of brim or skirt from your print bed, as well as prints that don't come off right away with a flex of the bed.

Most printed bed scraper designs don't have replaceable blades so when you end up destroying one you have to reprint the entire thing. You will need x2 m3x5 or m3x6 screws to fit the blade unless you go with the non replaceable blade version for some reason. Button head screws are ideal but cap heads will work also.

Print a handle and a set of blades, if you dont have an AMS then you can print the no ams version that has 2 pauses so you can change the fillament and still get the colour highlights In the text.

Attatch the blades print side up so you get a cleaner sharper edge without the stair stepping from the layers.

Print the scraper with 3 or 4 walls and 15% infill for rigidity and print the blades at your lowest layer height to get the sharpest edge. The blades should also ideally be printed from pla for stiffness.

Note: the blades should be installed print bed side up with the chamfer on the bottom, it may seem counterintuitive but it gives the scraper a sharper edge that way.

said this to someone on my other scraper but you have the blade on upside down, you should have the blade attached print surface up as it gives you a sharper cleaner edge without the stair stepping. I should add a note in the description glad you like it!

What do you mean by falls apart? The model is only 2 parts and screws together tightly.

if you take it off the bed if other parts stick to it and when you try cutting them off, it just makes it bigger mess

none of the parts should be touching in my print profile so none of them should be stuck together.

Could you tell me what you mean by "fell apart", I would like to know whether it is a problem with the model or slicer settings or if it's user error and I can help you get a proper print

the tool completely delaminated and I had 3 parts the inside of the scraper and the outside (top&bottom ) they just sorta pealed of like the first time I scraped with it

Could you tell me things like what printer are you using? do all your other prints come out fine? and for the delamination were you using the same type of material from the different colours? for example petg and pla wont stick together very well if used in a multicolour print. and if possible could you add some photos?

was good except I couldn’t attach the blade that came with the printer due to the mounting locations. but I just use it as an all around plastic scraper.

That's because it wasn't designed to take the metal blade. you shouldn't use the metal blade on your print bed anyway, it's a super easy way to scratch it up and ruin it

nice design, easy print. p.s. a hole to hang it on a hook would be an awesome update/upgrade.
