Description

Features

  • Snug-fit cylinder that securely stores your DynaVap vaporizer without wiggle room.
  • Dual-well storage system to keep both fresh herb and AVB under wraps with a single omni-directional lid.
  • Does not require an expensive diametrically magnetized magnet! This case was designed to use a single size of magnet to keep costs to a minimum.
  • All cases have an ‘Extras’ option, a debowling spike and a loading tamper.

Compatibility

This stash box can fit M and Omni variants, both 92mm (Short) and 109mm (Long).

Hardware Requirements

The basic print requires at least nine (9) 6x2mm neodymium magnets. Each of the funnel lids will require two (2) additional magnets.

Print Settings

The primary Case part has a built-in support object to handle the small overhang above the storage cylinder, you shouldn't need to use any generated supports with this model if you print with a layer height of 0.2mm or less. A brim can be used to maintain foundational integrity if necessary.

Assembly Instructions

Start with magnet alignment on the Lid, the lid won’t close properly in both directions if you don’t ensure proper magnet alignment. Make sure that each side will line up when flipped either direction before gluing magnets into place. Do the same for the slider, align the magnets and glue in after double checking that they’re facing the correct direction.

The three cooling magnets will require a test alignment, they should align themselves edge-to-edge automatically if you’ve purchased axially magnetized disc magnets.

After the glue has dried/cured then you’re free to push the Slider piece into the Case. If you aligned the magnet properly the Slider should snap into the closed position when nudged. At this point you can also slide the lid closed, making sure you can close it in both directions thanks to your expert magnet alignment skills.

Note: the Slider piece will not easily come out once inserted. I’ve successfully used pliers to pull it back out but I’ve pretty much broken it each time when doing this. Feel free to print another Slider piece if this happens to you.

Patterns

This model includes an alternative top layer design - the Topo Pattern files have an inset pattern on the Case and Lid parts. This inset is measured at 0.4mm, perfect for using a different color for the top layers of the model.
