Edmonton Oilers Lithophane Lightbox with Stuart Skinner, Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl.
I have 2 panels available for this light box. 1 High Definition Lithophane that is 8 Color, 1 CMYK Lithophane that is 4 Color.
Notes:
the brighter the LED lights used the better, on these I used a Cob Led light strip in 6000K color temperature along the back perimeter and it looks fantastic with the light on, even better in the dark, really pops. You can use the standard LED lights as well but I would recommend 2 rows along the back perimeter for best results.
These use most of the plate size. You might get some errors that say the print tower is too close, just ignore them, they are close but won't interfere with anything or hit.
This is a 4 part print, Print plate 1 (Box Frame) and Plate 2 (Back Cover) from profile 1, Select the Lithophane you want (Profile 2 is the 8 Color, Profile 3 is the 4 Color Lithophane.
Profile 1: Lightbox Frame (1 plate each). I suggest using a PEI plate and print face down, No brim is needed, but make sure you have a freshly clean PEI plate. This one will clear the print calibration lines so they don't need to be removed.
Profile 2: Lightbox Back Deflector (1 plate each). I suggest using a PEI plate and print face down, No brim is needed, but make sure you have a freshly clean PEI plate. The back has a white reflector build into it. the parts are already oriented properly in the files, I have turned off the prime tower as there isn't room to fit it on this print, but it's not needed.
Profile 3: High Definition 8 Color Lithophane Front panels. I printed on PEI plate I used the bambu CMYK bundle plus 4 other colors for this print. there is a negative part over the lithophane panel that will trim and leave a lip on the lithophane so it'll fit in the frame properly, it's tight but fits perfectly. just go slow when pushing it in. add a little superglue around the edge on the back from the inside. (See Colors Used Below)
Profile 4: Lower Definition 4 Color Lithophane Front panesl. I printed on PEI plate. there is a negative part over the lithophane panel that will trim and leave a lip on the lithophane so it'll fit in the frame properly, it's tight but fits perfectly. just go slow when pushing it in. add a little superglue around the edge on the back from the inside. (See Colors Used Below)
