The idea with this design is to make an easy horizontal mount that can be fit into existing (60mm distance) screw holes. Or just make new holes :). But I needed a simple way of mounting my APs on a few wells where the ceiling was just not accessible easily. Although being my own design, I used the plate design credited here to help getting the mount right.
It comes in two flavors, which I've tested with a couple different APs. The “nano” one is for the smaller APs, and the U6-LR should fit many of the larger APs. The main differences are the notches needed to allow the mount to swivel when attaching the AP to the plate.
