Description

This is a remix of Crafty Sven's excellent articulated Guardian. Just like the original, it prints without supports.

When I first printed the original model, I was honestly surprised that the head isn't designed to move - because most of the geometry necessary for the ball joint is already there thanks to the underlying "Ancient Core". So getting the head to rotate was basically just a matter of chopping it off and connecting it to the core.

I also tweaked the overall proportions a little bit and remodeled the claws to more closely match the Guardian's in-game design. They are a bit of a torture test for your printer now, but definitely printable.

In addition to the single-color version, there's also a painted multicolor version. Enjoy :)

Adhered well. Printed perfectly using sport mode on X1C with PLA. Quick print to boot! Skirt was easy to remove and the moving head was a bonus! Can even be worn as a hat!

PETG Red/Black sparkle .16 slowed everything down and then put on silent took over 8 hours but came out nice, hope the kid I made it for likes it

tried with different colors. i love it! Head moves nicely. very flexible legs. I reduced the flushing volume too much, so the white parts became pink.. Next time i‘ll try it with 0,5 multiplier.
