Description

I realize there are a plethora of desiccant containers… I wanted one with the following attributes:

  1. Good airflow - both in the core and on the end caps
  2. Fit nicely in the core of Bambu filament spools
  3. Light on filament use when printing
  4. Be able to stay with the spool in a dryer or in the AMS
  5. Easy to remove without spilling desiccant

So I created this thing. The small cap keeps the desiccant in the medium tube. The larger tube is used to hold the container in the filament hub. Everything is filled with holes. The small cap and the medium tube both have small spheres which can interlock with the holes on the part they mesh with, providing a slight positive attachment. The small cap has gaps around the edge to make it easy to pry off.

**Don't put desiccant in the larger tube - it is a spacer.
