I printed this model in PLA on the X1C printer.

Thanks for your interest! My model was independently developed from a copper sculpture I scanned and exported from Fusion 360. It's a classic design that's quite popular in Chinese speaking countries, so it's no surprise that it's popping up elsewhere.

What software/hardware did you use to scan it? It did a great job.

The Mole Scanner from 3dmakerpro didn't perform as well as I expected. TBH, 3D scanners struggle with shiny surfaces, resulting in considerable preparation and post-processing work on my part. IMO, unless one invests in a high-end model, I wouldn't recommend purchasing a 3D scanner for 3D printing currently. The entire process tends to be cumbersome and time-consuming.

For folk printing this - be warned that the bottom is not flat, and you'll need to sink it into the bed to fix that. I dropped it from Z=83.44 to Z=82.80:

Very nice model! Printed perfectly using Sunlu Dual Color Black Purple Silk PLA (BBL Silk profile). Only issue I had was with the bottom layer for the base. I didnt think to score it first so it would be smooth, so I will need to add something.

Printed very well and beautifully. tail came out messed up, I'm going to blame the filament on this one, printer probably went too fast even with silk settings. Filament: Sunlu Red Copper Silk PLA+

Looks like someone stole your stl and reuploaded it as their own: https://makerworld.com/en/models/135440#profileId-147381 Has the exact same error at the elbow.

Seems like that user just steals models and uploads them as their own.

Just curious. Is the arm missing the elbow? Thx.

There is a small round hole in one of the elbows due to the limitations of the model I scanned. I filled it with wood filler and sanded it down. Hope this helps.

Hi Polymer , This model is awesome, would you like to share a multi-color 3mf (Like your printing) ? 可以分享下你的多色3mf吗?

It could have been painted later

Hi Judy, I'm afraid I don't have a multi-coloured 3mf for this model. I painted my print with the airbrush, less wastefully than with AMS.
