Description

This adapter system attaches to the edges of a MIKA3D 250g 134.5x44mm spool enabling usage within a Bambu Lab AMS.

 

Features:

  • Reusable
  • MIKA3D nameplate for easy identification when reusing

Instructions:

  • Measure your spool first to ensure it matches the specified dimensions
  • Print this model twice for a single spool
  • Affix one spool adapter to each side of the MIKA3D spool
  • See attached photos

Considerations:

  • Print Material: Please print with a basic PLA or PETG to minimize any shrinkage.

yes... some filament... problems with the writing... but it could be the type of pla used

Thank you for the reply! Few suggestions: drying the filament helps improve prints, apply a heat gun or hairdryer for the light stringing (very briefly or you can warp the part), trim any heavy stringing with a utility knife or deburring tool. Lastly, I get great results using Bambu Lab's Textured PEI plate for most all of my prints. I highly recommend it. I hope this helps!

came out great and works perfectly in the AMS. note!!! these also work perfectly with DO3D 250g spools too!

These are lighter weight and easier to use than the option I used to use and screw on, so I've started to phase them out for these new ones. Been printing them out of PLA+ and no issues so far.

Yes, but for some reason they were about 1mm too big

Thank you for the reply and helpful info. The inner diameter of the model, the area that wraps the spool, is 134.85mm in diameter which leaves a 0.35mm tolerance overall with a 0.175mm radius tolerance. They fit my spools perfectly as seen in the photos however there may be variances on the manufacturing side. I will keep an eye on this issue as hopefully some others provide feedback.
