PTFE Quad Clip and more.
I made this little accessory to help with the delivery of filament between the AMS and the HUB to reduce failure to feed and retract filament.
The open sided clips have a positive snapping action when you insert the tubes to the holder. It creates just enough tension to hold onto the bowden tube without causing any resistance to the free movement of the filament inside.
The closed clips are for setting up multiple AMS units that might be positioned further away or above or below the printer and creates a very nice solid hold on the tubes to keep them in place. These hold on tight but do not create any resistance inside the tube.
The magnetic clip has two holes for 8x3mm neodymium magnets. You can use them to attach to the back of the printer or even together as long as you make sure the magnets are inserted polar correct to attract to the other magnets on the other clips. You can also use them on metal frames to hold your tubes in place and avoid using tie-wraps. Here's the link to the magnets from Amazon: Magnets
These clips really help keep the bowden PTFE tubes from flopping around and creates a nice sweeping motion for the filament to travel from the AMS to the HUB and back. The best part is you can move them around and position them however you like and whichever way works best for you!
The clips come in three different versions one plate for each version.
Plate 1: Quad clips
Plate 2: Six shooter clips (enclosed)
Plate 3: Magnetic clips which use an 8mmx3mm magnet
