Description
Created this dice vault for a Halloween one-shot. Holds a standard 7-set.
The tolerances are designed to be tight so it's possible to not use glue for the magnets if you don't want to.
I also created variations for the other players (open vault / partial vault to double as a rolling tray). Will be updating soon once those get printed. Let me know if there is anything that can be improved, and I may iterate on it.

I find the tolerances are so tight the alignment ridges don't fit into the top.
also it's probably my fault but I don't see the size of magnets needed.
could you please let me know what size you used?
other than that the model is fantastic.
I'm sure the lid could be shrunk down by a three quarters so that one set of dice fit as currently two sets of dice would fit in the coffin

Thanks for the feedback! Will update to address! in my test prints the first fit was super tight but after taking the lid off and on a few times it was no longer too tight. to not reprint I suggest just sanding the ridge grove a little bit but I will add a little more clearance. The magnets are 5x2mm

The vault looks really nice. The only I issue I have is the slots on the lid don't seem to be big enough. They don't fit over the ridges on the base. Also, the holes for the magnets on the base are too small for the 5x2mm magnets. (Magnet holes on the base were perfect)

Interesting, another commenter said the same thing. I apologize, I'm new to this and wonder if I messed up something exporting as it worked perfect for me. I will be re-visiting based on feedback and re-uploading. Thank you for trying it out!

I printed the coffin today and experienced the same problems.
Still a nice model though!

I really like this model but the lid definitely doesn't stay on without the magnets. I'll be adding those later today.

The fit is a little tight, but I love the design and adding magnets holds the lid in place
