Description

Support for Amazon Echo Dot Alexa

Echo Dot 4

Echo Dot 4 with clock

Echo Dot 5

Echo Dot 5 with clock

Echo Dot Width: 100mm

Echo Dot Height: 89mm

I was missing a fun stand for my Echo Dot. I modified the 3D mascot Phil aka Phil a ment to the size of the echo dot.

10-15% Infill Gyroid.

Use brim on the body. I used a 20mm outer edge to make sure it didn't fall off.

Enjoy!

Hello, how do you manage to have such a good surface without supports? The surface on the bottom of my backpack is bad. What temperature are you? Greetings Oliwer

There has been done quite a bit of work in this remix. It is not as versatile as it could be, as the alignment does depend on the variation of the echo. That could have adressed with a wider slot in back to connect the echo's cable. My version does fit perfectly though. The visor on the other hand blocks the ambient light sensor and the physical push buttons, resulting in the brightness of the clock to be stuck at the lowest level. A simple cutout again solves that problem as well (see print profile) but a bit at cost of the aesthetics. But form follows function. Same goes for the echos light circle, that now only is visible in white or very light filaments. Solution? You guessed it: cutouts probably. Except for the sensor issue, those points didnt bother me enough to change and reprint the mascot itself. Si in total I would give 3.5 Stars, but rather chose not to rate at all in order to not lower your rating average. I still enjoy the conecpt and the model as well as the final result a lot.
