Description

UPDATE (V2)

  • thinner walls, less material used when printing, optimized spout

Print with 3 walls, 10-15% gyroid infill.

NEW V2
75% scale- fits 18g

I printed it with PLA, no problem so far even if using RDT.

Printed a couple of them using the given profile. In time they do get a little bit dirty but hey that's normal with coffee beans!

Thanks :) Yeah I’m wondering about printing my next one in black so it doesn’t look so filthy. How did you find the random s-seam? I’ve realised it doesn’t look good with some filaments; I’m thinking of removing it from the profile…

I printed it in Sunlu white PLA+ and haven't honestly noticed it. In some prints like the cute mini octopus random Z seam can show zits but not this one for me. I have added a few pictures to the review 👍.

I'll add a new print profile with scarf seam. Stay tuned! :)

V2 came out absolutely perfect. The cup itself weighed 27g on PLA-basic in Nature. It holds 18g of fresh beans easily, and pours off in to my dosing tubes just as I hoped. The color I chose came out a bit creamier than the Normcore white, but I love it. No complaints. I'm planning on printing the Thonk: Knockbox with the same color on top, layered with bambu copper on the base, as well. It should be an excellent compliment. Thank you for sharing your design.

I really like this version (although I liked the look of the old version slightly better). will probably print in a darker colour as this particular filament seems to stain easily (it’s a PETG). Thanks

This is a great design. the coffee beans fall off the tip well and at 80% scale it’s just perfect. I’ve printer 3 already. I like to use it for sigle dosing and when I fill up my single dose cointainers. I printed this one in PETG.

First thing I ever 3D printed! Works great, I hope it's ok putting beans in unsealed PLA though. Very happy with it.
