Made this to give the extruder a better angle for the PTFE tube on top.

I printed with ASA and it badly warped and it doesnt even fit, not sure what the heck has happened?!?

I learned you can't print big boxy things with ASA. it just warps badly. use pla or petg

really? I was shocked how much out if alignment this damn thing was. i guess I will have to get PETG. I used the ASA For heat resitance but it made it worse. :( It lifted up the plate from the magnet!

I tried to print a birdhouse out of ASA because I thought it would be great in the sun and it ripped itself apart. I now understand ASA is for smaller models (not boxy stuff) that needs temperature resistance like in the car. You can also design models that are less likely to warp but I haven't quite figured that out. The PetG is doing well outside. ABS is also an option.

printed in petg came out perfect nice tight fit. nice not hearing the plastic protectors hitting the glass all time

Printed perfectly in Bambu PLA tough. allows the top glass to be slid back for ventilation.

Printed great, wish there was a lip all around to prevent to glass from shifting from vibrations.
