Description

This model was designed to allow me to paint all sides of a board without waiting for the paint to fully dry. The small points on the top of the paint stands allowed for minimal contact between the supporting paint stands and the freshly painted surface, reducing the possibility of damaging the new paint.

I made this stackable to allow for more organized storage.

 

The model was designed for a 0.4mm nozzle and no need for supports.

Had to modify the profile to add a brim as I had adhesion issues with the small contact patch of the model. So I feel that maybe a brim should be considered. But at the end of the day, I really like the model.

I printed 8 PLA verisions of these without bed adhesion issues at that time, but understand the issue with the small bed to print contact area. I've had bed adhesion issues in the past and some things I did to improve it before printing were, switching to a PEI plate, cleaning it with denatured alcohol and raising bed temperature to 65C. Between printing environment, and print material, print quality results may very with this model.
