Description

This is a spool holder for the honeycomb wall system from RostaP. This is compatible with my [BaBo duo] riser modul in the honeycomb version but also for any other application with honeycomb wall system. Printed bearings in size DIN625-608 are included, but you can also use real ball bearings if you have them.

There is an additional filament guide that works with the Bambu Lab connector. (See image.)

Optionally, the spool holder and the filament guide can be screwed to hexagonal plates from the rear.

Another impressive piece. Just printed two of the main piece for storage of spools, not for active use. I can hang 2 spools on each.

Works great. I printed with 0.6 mm nozzle at 0.42 layer height so the fit was exact but didn’t have any wiggle room to allow for rotation. It is very strong and printed without supports. I think using a 0.4 mm would have led to a much better fit and room for rotation. Overall good design.

doesn’t roll good enough. tolerance too tight. Il have to look at it some more and see what I have to do.

Did you use the printed bearings or real ones? I would be happy if you could get it working and report back.

I printed this in PETG and cleaned up the edges of the roller and the printed bearings. Rolls just fine for me. Thanks for putting this out @Willi 3D.
