This is a Minecraft inspired Gold Pickaxe. You can build this with 3D printable individual 20*20*20mm blocks. I do not have a fitting name yet, but I think I will call them “Printcraft Blocks".
Each block has a specific amount of connection points to connect to another block via a non releasable snap fit connector. You can print all parts in 0.2mm layer height in PLA. I also tested 0.15 mm which works, too. If you have succesfull prints in other layer heights or materials - please let me know!
I labeled every printable block according to its color and the amount you will have to print of each color and variant.
For example:
Brown_4_x9: This means the color of this block should be brown. It has 4 connections points and you need to print 9 pieces of it.
This design has 68 blocks and 102 snapfit connectors. If you have printed all parts I would recommend using the picture as a guidline to snap everything together.
Please mind: Snap the blocks together in lines because you can disconnect the snap fits with a lot of force - but they will most likely break. Also these blocks have a upper and low side. Please mind that during assembly. However they way they are design you cannot connect them wrong. But undoing a connection is not the best option. It's also a little puzzle. ;)
Have fun!
