The Xiaomi Dreame D10Plus has an auto-empty base-station which uses one-time use, throwaway dustbags. I didn't like this because it feels wasteful.
Instead I designed a re-usable dustbin that slots in a spare HEPA filter from the vacuum itself in the bottom, and features a snap-in lid to easily empty out the dustpan. The hepa filter is positioned to be right over where the air gets sucked from in the base charging station,
I've also included the file to print a TPU seal ring to ensure an airtight connection between the base station and dustbin, but you can re-use a sealing ring from a used dustbag.
Assembly:
I printed this in PLA, but PETG would be better suited for this for the snap-in joints.
STLs are in optimal print orientation. The lid is oriented the way it is to ensure strength in the snap-in joints.
You need supports for the Lid. For the base, you can get away without supports if you print solid infil first, but it's better to just use supports for the slot where the HEPA filter goes.
