Description

My Ecobee SmartSensor took a dive off a shelf and the battery cap went flying – straight to the air conditioning vent and down into the depths.

I contacted Ecobee to see if I could get a replacement flimsy piece of plastic, and all they offered was that I could buy a new SmartSensor for US$50. Calipers, Fusion 360, and my Bambu X1C to the rescue!

Printed well with both a 0.4mm nozzle at 0.12mm layer height as well as a 0.2mm nozzle at 0.08mm layer height. The 0.2mm nozzle settings seated better. I used the default settings in Bambu Studio and printed it in Bambu PLA.

Thank you for this, same happened to me, lost the cover. I Found this, printed it in pla with 0.4 nozzle and selected extra fine .08 layer height, printed flawlessly and snapped right in. saved me $50, I thank you good sir. printed on a P1S

Glad I'm not the only one. We've nearly dismantled and reorganized our kitchen (where we lost the back) and it's still nowhere to be found. Printed cap working great. :D
