Description

Just one look at the impressive skull of this massive feline and you’ll be glad it’s been extinct for 11,000 years. Walking the Earth alongside our human ancestors for millennia, saber-toothed cats’ impressive fangs were precision killing tools that helped earn them the scientific name Smilodon fatalis.

It came out really nice. I just had some issue with one of the tooth, so I added a brim to keep the tooth from falling over. Printed with esun PLA+ Bone White.

I'm very pleased with the quality and scalability of this free model file. The finished product is impressive. The display stand is a bit problematic, but is markedly improved by adding a solid cone that fuses the base and the upright rod. this strengthens the structure tremendously. Overall, this has been one of the most rewarding 3D models that I've printed.
