Description

After many requests, the wait is finally over... I present to you, the AMS Feeder Button Remix - Cannabis Edition! I remixed @MaverickNg's AMS Feeder Button remix by removing the Bambu Lab logo and replacing it with a Cannabis leaf. This AMS Feeder Button allows you to insert a PTFE tube to help protect against wear. The PTFE tube can be inserted and cut flush or leave a little sticking out for guidance. The button is also larger than the stock button and it's angled to make it easier to push when inserting or removing filament in the AMS, which is a huge help.

 

Printing recommendations:

  • Print the first layer at a slow speed (10 mm/s in profile) so it lays down that first layer nice and good
  • First layer line width .3 mm to fill the leaf solid
  • Only one wall on first layer

 

Additional parts needed:

  • 4mm OD PFTE tube

What keeps falling? you should stick some PTFE tubes in them

I did it but it’s still falling. that when filament Roll spin its move likely off not hold

10/10, was waiting for this design to drop :). A quick spray of ipa to the middle of the bed before printing helps with first layer adhesion. I had 1 of them with tiny issues at first attempt but skipped it on the handy app and the rest turned out great. After this I printed 2 more after spraying ipa on the bed (which I should have done before the first time as these have tiny details on them on a small footprint). Thank you for the design

Awesome! Thanks for the feedback, always appreciated my friend. If you have any other requests just lmk! Since these are a small footprint with no brim, it can be tricky to get them to stick unless the plate is super clean. I ended up having to wash mine with soap and water to get a nice solid adhesion. Great tip on keeping the plate clean 🤘🏻
