Pistachio Bowl v1.5

Updates:

2024-02-17:

Added print profile for detached flower based on community feedback
Simplified polygons in CAD to make model slice faster
added chamfer to inner tube on inner bowl to make shells go in easier
fixed offset dot on flower (Thanks @Nicolinux)
general fixes on print profile

2024-01-04: Tried to add fix so people downloading the model will get the lastest version instead of old one.

I didn't like the fit of the bowl on the first couple of versions, so in version 1.2 I have reworked the shape of the inner and outer bowl to fit perfectly on each other with out slipping around which were an issue with first versions.

A mario themed bowl for pistachios.
Use the top bowl for the nuts and bottom one for the shells.
Just yeet the shells into the mouth of the Piranha Plant.

Just printing the new version but the rim looks pretty bad. I think the angle is too steep. You could improve it a bit or mention adding supports.

I also downloaded the latest version but it still looks like the old one. Did it again and again....no new version. The print doesn't look like in your picture. What is the solution for the problem? Any ideas?

Some slight failed bridging on the outer overhang of the inner bowl. And a quite clear seam. Doesn't affect function and is still a good print!

Hi Martenh. Make sure you downloaded the lastest version 1.2 I have corrected the issues with the bridging on the new version. It should look like the picture i attached

That's odd. I printed it straight from the app yesterday which means it should be the latest version since the page says you updated it 16th.

A great model, but I couldn't use the print profile because the old files are still being used there.

UPDATE V1.5 If you are using Bambu Handy, make sure you redownload to latest version, file should be named something with v1.5 Biggest thing in this update is the new print profile with the option to print flower separate from inner bowl. The feedback I got on this model has been amazing, I am trying to address all the issues all of you are reporting. Happy Printing everyone

Very surprised by how clean/well this came out with no supports. Great design - used V1.2 profile and changed settings to 0.16mm. Colours used - all Bambu basic PLA : Red / White / Green / Brown.

Printed the new version now (thanks for the fix, it works great and needs no support)! There is some color bleed. I printed it on the X1C maybe it was not optimized for that or it was my own inexperience. However, I'd like to suggest to add a version where the flower/top part is separated from the base. This way, they can be printed separately and glued together. And there is a small error with the top part. One of the white dots protrudes from the red base (see screenshot from Bambu Studio where I tried to cut it myself and paint again).

I will see if I can push an update adressing the issues you mentioned + a version where you can glue/stick the flower into the tube of the inner bowl. Appreciate the feedback!
