The make promises a lot in terms of protecting the x1c display by providing a frame with a mobile cover. However, after two complete prints, done with two different filament types (PLA and PETG) have turned out to be unusable, I've given up completely disappointed of the results. While the display frame turned out somewhat usable, the hinges parts on both the frame and the cover were both a complete failure. Moreover, the cover is designed in such way that the logo and text are of unnecessary hight, adding unnecessary weight, print time and amount of spent filament. Overall, it was (at least for me) a really disappointing experience. Perhaps the maker would consider reviewing his project and rework the cover and the hinges parts to render it usable and useful, especially since he's the only one (to the date) who has come up with a great idea and, personally, I'd love to have it printed for my X1C. Looking forward to seeing the upgraded v.2 of this and be able to use it to protect my display.
Cheers.
PS - sadly, my disappointment was so big that I haven't thought to take a couple of pictures of the two failed prints. I will, however, take several pictures of the results of the (hopefully, ) upcoming improved version.
