Description

Replacement handle for a 5 gallon bucket. Larger diameter to make it easier to carry and use a heavy bucket.

Cut off the original plastic little handle, place this on, and slide the insert in with some superglue of your choice to hold it in place.

Insert is glued in place, no fasteners to loosen or catch on your hand. You can also stake them with a soldering iron.

The insert is printed flat on the bed with the Y pointed up.

The handle is printed vertical.

This is similar to a version I saw years ago but it is improved.

I print them in PLA at .35 layer with 4-6 walls on a .6 nozzle and 15% infill.

Handy and prints great. I printed two of these in PLA w. 0.4mm nozzle / 0.2mm layer height. The prints came out great and successfully replaced broken handles that came on the buckets

This printed well and installation was straightforward. A slight variation in the metal form made the insert tight even without glue. I couldn't even remove it so I used my thin CA glue to adhere them together. The handle is still able to spin around the metal form.
