Description

Super Mario power up cube inspired cube light. The cube lights up on 5 sides which makes it very bright. Included is light diffuser for some filaments that are more transparent so the individual LEDs would not be visible. All parts are friction fitted, but a drop of super glue will be needed for it to be tossed round :)

The frame I printed in matte white PLA. The sides is printed in yellow and white PLA + from eSUN.

For the light cube you are are going to need a USB cable with a switch preferably. And a 5v cool white LED strip.

Basic soldering skill and soldering iron required.

Great print. First light box for me. Did one in Yellow and White and then one where the white is glow in the dark PLA. Also for the wiring of LED's took a simpler approach (basically cheated) so no need for soldering. 3 Pin Connector Wire - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01DC0KIT2/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A35UAT07QG3EC6&th=1 LED Strip Connectors (Allows Connection to LED strip with no soldering)- https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B094NJLKFH/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=A2Z7SJ46MF7F7N&psc=1 5V USB Power Adapter - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08HQBM4JX/ref=ox_sc_act_title_3?smid=A1WHT06QZW7OZQ&th=1 LED Strip (RGB) - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B088BB8WTZ/ref=ox_sc_act_title_5?smid=A35UAT07QG3EC6&psc=1 Controller - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0CCD7JH3Z/ref=ox_sc_act_title_4?smid=A2ATRTUSTEVBNS&th=1 1. Cut LED strip to size. 2. Feed connector from connector wire through light (from pack of extra wires) 3. Use strip connectors to attach LED and Wire connector. 4. Adhere LED strip to post. 5. Plug in Controller to LED connector created in steps 1-3.

Absolutely amazing print. Really enjoyed the assembly. I used a little RGB LED strip with controller & remote, hot glued the controller to the inside, and made for a super fun little gift.
