Description

Remixed spool dryer to make it compatible with 350W food dehydrator! Tested with Silvercrest and Quigg components!

Made also some change to the mode:

  • PTFE guides moved to the back;
  • added PTFE guides to the base instead of the middle part;
  • added small feet to the middle part to allow screwing to the base.

To make a full dryer you need the following components.

  • Roller(print2).STL → original
  • CableLocking.STL → original
  • Feet(print4).STL → original
  • SpoolDryer_Top.STL → original
  • ElectronicsSeparator.STL → remixed
  • ElectronicsBox.STL → remixed
  • SpoolDryer_Mid.STL → remixed
  • Button → new for Silvercrest and Quigg

The one labelled as original you can find at this link: 2 Spools Printable Filament Dryer by AP Engineering - MakerWorld

Substitute the original parts with the remixed one for compatibility with the Silvercrest and Quigg dehydrator.

For details of material needed and a small guide you can refer to the original model.

Great Model, thanks for sharing. where do I find the buttons for your design? And did you upload the remodeled parts? I printed the bottom and there are no Filament guides.

Hello, indeed you are right. The bottom part I put an older version without the filament guides. I'm sorry for that. I'll upload the modified one. For the buttons you can find thr stl but I didn't put in the printing profiles. I will add that too. I will made the changes tomorrow cause now I don't have access to my laptop. Thank you for pointing that out!

already printed everything and it fit well together. now I have your „old“ model but it worked for me. the buttons in your raw files were to big for the „old“ model so I designed them myself. but all in all thanks for the great work 🙏
