This laser cutting project offers a practical solution for Bambulab AMS users. I've created a spool adapter that allows for the use of 250g spools. It modifies a 140mm spool to fit a 200mm size, specifically designed for a 250g Form Futura spool, and has been tested with Easy Wood PLA.

Laser cutting is a faster method compared to 3D printing, especially in this application. For the construction of this adapter, a 3mm poplar wood plate was used, but other types of wood should also work well.

Included Files:

• "250g Spool adapter laser cut.dxf": A DXF file for lasercutting, ready for use in Lightburn.
• "250g Spool adapter laser cut.f3d": The Fusion 360 project file.
• "250g Spool adapter laser cut.stl": An STL file for preview only, not intended for printing.

Assembly:

1. Sand down the edges to remove debris.
2. Mount the two spool halves with two zip ties per side.

Please note that this adapter is specifically designed for laser cutting and is not suitable for 3D printing.

Dieses Lasercut-Projekt bietet eine praktische Lösung für Nutzer der Bambulab AMS. Ich habe einen Spulenadapter entwickelt, der den Einsatz von 250g Spulen ermöglicht. Der Adapter konvertiert eine 140mm Spule auf eine 200mm Größe, speziell für eine 250g Spule von Form Futura, getestet mit Easy Wood PLA.

Lasercutten ist eine schnellere Methode im Vergleich zum 3D-Druck, besonders in dieser Anwendung. Für den Bau dieses Adapters wurde eine 3mm Pappelholzplatte verwendet, jedoch sollten auch andere Holzarten gut funktionieren.
