I have not done any operational testing with AirTag connected, as the use of this mod would be illegal in Japan.

This case is for connecting CR2477 to AirTag.
Battery capacity is increased by 4.4 times, so 4-5 years of battery life can be expected.

Soldering is required to create the device.
It is probably possible to make it work without soldering by creating an electrode with a CR2032 dummy and copper tape, but it will be less reliable.
In either case, a soldering iron is necessary because hot-melt nuts are used.

本モデルの日本国内での作成、仕様は禁止します。
このモデルを使って電池4.4倍AirTag作成するとほぼ確で電波法違反になる恐れがあります。
アイディアを形にしただけで私自身も実際にはこれをテストしていません。

このMODを使用したところで電波が増幅されることはありませんが、メーカーの意図する使用方法を逸脱しているため総務省の工事設計認証が外れるためです。

工事設計認証の仕様に変更を与える改造をするわけではないので、認証取得者（Apple社）が使用方法の一つとしてこのMODを認めてくれれば適法となりますが、製造者責任の観点から問い合わせたところでこれを認めるはずがありません。
