Description

  • Print in place perpetual calendar, no assembly needed for the calendar mechanism.
The only assembly needed is to push PacMan ghost into the connector (which will be rotating into the calendar).
  • easily attachable PacMan ghost pencil holder for pencils/brushes.
  • There are 6 holes @ 9mm diameter and 2 holes @ 14mm diameter, for different “tools”. Or use it as a decor only.
  • The ghost model can be used also standalone, without the calendar, or print it in more color combinations.
  • PacMan ghost model has two sides, as in the animation.
  • I've build tolerances for the connector between ghost and calendar, but it's falling off from ghost, please use a drop of glue between connector and ghost. ( Do Not glue the connector to Calendar, to allow rotation of PacMan ghost).

So far I've just printed out the base but I can't get the months and the dates to turn independent of each other .

hmmm that is not good, there is a gap of at least 0.3mm between parts. something is wrong or filament is not calibrated correctly. Did you used my printing profile ?

Yes, I used your print profile. I used Sunlu filament and basic PLA settings

can you try a filament calibration ? If it's too complicated or not sure how to do it, maybe try to lower the filament flow ratio a bit and print a small test to see if it's ok: https://makerworld.com/en/models/136666#profileId-148687 You need to be able to move the 0.3mm lever. For example, if you have flow ratio 0.98, You can try to lower it to 0.965.

The result is really nice and cute, so it was worth it for me. But if you don't normally print multicolor it will feel like hell of a filament waste (normal for multicolor print though) and don't make the mistake of printing with supports! Defaults will be better, trust me. Note: if you want to use supports: The support breaks often when pulling it out (standard, not tree). If it does poke a screwdriver in and turn until it rips free.

First of all, thank you for your review! My profile has no supports. This model works without any supports. Also, just checked the filament flush quantities in Bambu Studio: total on both plates: almost 40 grams. Total model weight is 240 grams. There is some waste, but I've tried to minimize it. Please don't use supports, I don't see any need for this model. PS: you can choose to print the calendar (base) in one color, delete the numbers from the print profile, less waste, but the numbers will just be cut out, not colored.

Yes sorry, realized that I structured my comment suboptimally. Have edited it to better reflect what I meant to say. My main point is, that printing it with supports was my mistake and if someone makes it too I wanted to put my findings out into the world of how they can be removed.
