The latest mini coffin in the collection features Michael Myers from the "Halloween" franchise. The lid is made up of six objects, each of which can be assigned its own color. The objects are as follows: lid - black, trim - silver (.6mm thick), blood - red (1mm thick), Michael - white (1mm thick), background - red (1mm thick), and knife - silver (.6mm thick).
The thickness of the trim and knife is .6mm, which, if using my included profile, is two layers thick, while the other objects are 1mm, or four layers. I use metallic filaments for the trim and knife, and two layers are plenty for that. This helps cut down a little on filament swaps and waste.
The first layer color printing order works best with white going down before black. This helps with some of the shading effect. For this model, I use silver first, then red, white, and finish with black.
The STEP file for the lid is included if you’d like to customize or make your own version.
My AMS is set up with:
1-Silver - 2-Black - 3-White - 4-Red
Have fun, and Happy Halloween!
