Description

Summary

Hi all!

I wanted to do an ornament for my Christmas tree made with my hobby, and when trying to figure out I start thinking in a spiral shape. I made the design, smile to myself, and said: "This will never print...".

But I wanted to see how badly this would print and... I witnessed a impossible print.

Yes it is really ugly, yes it an ornament (ugly), but to my eyes is a beauty, a print that laugh at gravity and is a true torture test to the 3D Printer and its cooling fans, and probably more than that...

To reproduce this magnificent ornament you have to do:

  • 3 perimeters;
  • 0.2mm;
  • 100% Infill;
  • Brim;
  • No Raft;
  • No Supports;

I wish you all an excellent Christmas, wishing that impossible dreams can come true, and also impossible prints :)

Also a happy new 2022 year, full of health and success.

PS: Notice I couldn't do the ring on top, but maybe you can do better. Looking forward to see your prints.

PS2: Funny fact, Lukes3D had the same idea 5 years ago and made a very similar model. Here is the link: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3274485
