Description

Information

I present to you my idea of a bucket for snacks, nuts, sunflower seeds or pistachios, for example, or anything else that fits in and produces waste. You can store them in it and have a container for the shells in the lower part. You can easily remove the inner container. When you have finished snacking, you can close the whole thing again with the lid.

Print and Assembly Instructions

You only need a small piece of filament to assemble it. Insert this small piece (preferably with flat pliers) into the hinge.
The bucket can be printed completely without support. With a P1S, you will need just under 3 hours of printing time for the complete bucket. There are two versions. One version with 2 walls and 5% infill (version on all pictures) and another version with 4 walls and 25% infill. So if you need it ultra-stable, the second version is an almost indestructible bucket.

UPDATE 03.01.2024

  • Replaced the .3mf file with the new hinge holes for better assembly

UPDATE 01.01.2024

  • Enlarged the hinge holes from 1.95mm to 2.1mm for easier assembly

I look forward to seeing pictures and/or remixes of this bucket.

Well done, but please enlarge the hole a bit so that the filament can pass through. You can then heat the ends to prevent it from falling out. Happy new Year!

Thank you for your feedback. I will enlarge the hole to fix the lid. Actually it is 1.95mm. I will do a version with 2.1mm. For me 1.95mm would be good. Difficult to push but works.

Added a new version with 2.1mm holes. Maybe the filament gets through easier for some prints. For me 1.95mm was fine. But every Filament and Printer can differ a bit. Thank you again for your feedback!!!
