Description

Was looking for a solution to protect the lens of the scanner when not in use or during storage so I came up with this case to slide over the face of the scanner and locks in place by the thread that comes with the scanner. Simple, Functional.

Curious, how do you like the seal scanner? What do you use it for?

Its ok, nothing great, still has that cheaper consumer grade learning curve. I actually have the Lite version not the better one, but this was my introduction to 3d scanning so I didn't wana go with something expensive till i had a grasp on things. I was able to get in to their Indiegogo introductory prices so it didnt cost me much. This particular scanner is for smaller things like prob under a foot or so in size. I really want to try the Mole as thats about the size of things I'm looking to scan (small car parts, vents and what not). So far I've only got the chance to use it once or twice, but again I'm still learning the software as this is my first scanner and I have the Lite version. I do think the software has a lot to be desired [JMStudio]. Far as the scanner I don't have anything to compare it to, but it is certainly hasn't been a stress free experience lol

Thanks for the reply. It seems like 3d scanning is still a bit far off from being easy to use and easy on the wallet.

yeah for sure, it seems like it's just getting into the stage 3d printers started at. You got your cheap scanners affordable now but there a lot of software fumbling still that makes it harder for beginners becuz of still having to do a lot of post. but if you drop big $ less post, better scanner. It should get under eventually though I'd imagine
