Description

This is my latest HueForge art project. This is a depiction of the infamous Iwo Jima flag raising meant to reflect what a huge sacrifice was made in order for those marines to raise that flag over Iwo Jima in a display of clear victory. Marines and Navy personnel—sustained 24,053 casualties, by far the highest single-action losses in Marine Corps history.
