Description

Heyho

I recently had to measure a few parts and couldn't completely dismantle the whole appliance to do so.

That's why I constructed a particularly thin measuring slide so that I could get into the tightest places!

2 versions:

Version 1: Caliper with scale (mm), if the rough measurement is sufficient and needs to be easy to read.

Version 2: Caliper without scale. I prefer this version, as I end up taking the measurement with my digital caliper anyway.

Print & post processing:

If you print the parts with a scale, you must of course adjust the top layer. You can also separate the individual parts in the slicer!
I recommend 5 perimeters and 100% infill so that the part is as stiff as possible.

ATTENTION:
The tolerances for this part are deliberately tight! If the caliper cannot be moved very easily directly after printing, this is normal and desirable! You can then simply break the edges with a knife and, if necessary, reduce the friction slightly with Prafin.

For best accuracy, it is recommended to use an M4x10mm screw & M4 nut and tighten after adjustment.

Do not use too much force when pushing the caliper together to get the most accurate result!

Have fun! :)
