Description

IF YOU LIKE THIS MODEL GIVE ME A “THUMBS-UP” SO MORE PEOPLE CAN DISCOVER THIS MODEL. THANKS

If you need to tighten your timingbelts in case they got a little loose or your printer is making strange noise because of loose timingbelts,

or just for regular maintenance, this little helper will guide you. (need to print twice to have a pair each)

Steps as followed:

-loosen the 2x2 screws eaxh side. (just loosen! do nut fully unscrew!)

-move the Toolheadfrom the back all the way to the front for setteling the belt.

-measure wich of the distancing plates fits now and add about 0,6-0,8mm.

(BambuLab suggests to add a max of 1.0mm each side wich is quiet a lot. If 4.0mm fits loose go for 4.6-4.8mm)

-take the distancing plate and plug it in like in the Picture.

-repeat on the other side.

-if done thighten the screws back in (with distance plates still in there)

-remove the plates

-at first start you need to do a Calibration cycle

Thats it. Now your timing belts are back on track!

It looks good. If I use the automatic belt adjustment, then substituting this model I have a left 5 and a right 4.2, can I make it 5 everywhere? The printer is almost new, it's three weeks old and the belts seem to be stretched already. I put a 4.4 by manually stretching it, is this correct?

if it’s new I would move around the tool head to loosen the belts like in the description of the model and then I would ad a 0.4 distanc. in your example it would be 5,4 left and 4,8 right if you did the steps before correct

Of course, I will try to do so. It's very strange, a new printer and I have so much to add. I'm disappointed in Bamboo Lab! (

One of my printers was making a horrible scratching noise and these spacers did the job at removing it completely. It's been 4 days since making the tension adjustments and my prints are coming out great and printer seems to be working just fine. I wish there was some documentation from Bambu just to legitimize this process of belt tensioning but so far so good. 5 Stars.

I apologize that I don't have a single photo of the model. The pressure worked very well and finally little helpers for the belt tension! Thank you for sharing. (See the picture - Maintenance tools: https://makerworld.com/en/models/204208#profileId-224399)
